WoW, Sevrea
For those who have seen Alias, I discovered an unusual picture while repeatedly clicking "random page" on Wikipedia: Nikolay Annenkov, a Russian actor from the early 20th century. This has absolutely nothing to do with Alias, except that he looks remarkably like John Bristow, aka Victor Garber.

I guess that proves Jack Bristow is indeed, in fact, the immortal Milo Rambaldi.

In other news, I'm in Colorado, which is pretty awesome. I don't seem to be experiencing any reactions to Amy's family's cats, which either speaks to the effectiveness of Claritin, or, these cats just aren't cats which I'm especially allergic to. (Weird how that works.) I do have this strange... I donno, kind-of sleeplessness and increased heart rate, though, which aren't mentioned in any lists of Claritin side effects I've seen, and also aren't normally associated with cat allergy. Maybe it's the elevation? I don't remember having problems in Colorado when I was 8, but, well, I was 8 then.

Oh yes, Claritin caused the increased heart rate for me and for Jason when we tried it several years back. The odd thing is that when I took the prescription version, I had no side effects at all. But wow, was my heart beat horrible on the over-the-counter type. :(

Huh! Maybe that is it, then. I'll give claritin a rest next time it's time to take one, and see what happens... although honestly, the cat reaction would probably be worse than the heart thing, at least in the short term.

I can definitely get lethargic when subjected to extreme altitude changes.

The heartbeat thing may be a claritin thing, but yeah, I'm with you - compared to the sheer unrelenting misery that can be my allergies, claritin could do an awful lot to me and I wouldn't mind.

Are you taking plain Claritin or Claritin-D? I get that effect, but only with the decongestant version, because pseudoephedrine (in Sudafed, Advil Cold and Sinus, and virtually any allergy medication with a -D appended) does that to me in general...
